About Us:

The Hong Kong Association of Washington Foundation (HKAWF) was established by Hong Kong Association of Washington in 2009 to provide funding for athletic, cultural, educational and scientific advancement for the Asian American communities in the state of Washington.

The HKAW Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity was created to fulfill the task of providing funding for many needed causes within the Asian American communities. In addition to the annual Chinese New Year Gala, HKAW Foundation will also be hosting events to raise financial support for many of the organizations that touch our lives on a daily basis within our community.

The proceeds from the 2010 Chinese New Year Gala will benefit Celebrate Asia! music program, of Seattle Symphony.
