Greetings from your Treasurer, Tony Chang:

Greetings friends and members!!
Seattle Children’s Hospital, JDRF Northwest, Seattle Symphony, Seattle Chinese Garden, Washington Initiative for Supported Employment, Bruce Lee Foundation, Center for Children & Youth Justice and Bellevue LifeSpring, the list goes on.  What do these great Pacific Northwest charities have anything to do with the Hong Kong Association of Washington and its charity sister organization, HKAW Foundation?   These are the charities that HKAW Foundation had supported and fundraised for the past ten years.  Every year during the holiday season, while everyone is busy making their holiday plans and shopping lists, the board of directors of HKAW Foundation are busy planning for our next year’s Chinese New Year Gala fundraising event.

For 2018, our beneficiary will be the ArtsFund, another wonderful charity will be added to our list.  We are proud to say that these annual fundraising events were all put together by our volunteer board of directors.  Every year, our board of directors, along with our UW student volunteers spend countless hours to plan very meticulous details to ensure the success of the event. Please come and join us to celebrate the Chinese New Year/Year of Dog while fundraising for a great cause in ****.  See you all on February 25, 2018 at Seattle Sheraton.
